In diesem Jahr fallen am 27. Juli eine besonders lange totale Mondfinsternis und die Perihelopposition des Mars zusammen. Wer Mond und Mars an diesem Abend gerne selbst beobachten möchte, kann dies am Observatorium Lustbühel von 20-24 Uhr unter fachkundiger Anleitung tun. Außerdem können Besucherinnen und Besucher ein klassisches Silberkugelphotometer ausprobieren mit dem die Helligkeit des Mondes bestimmt werden kann. Bereits um 19 Uhr wird der Abend mit einer Führung durch das Observatorium eingeleitet.
