Good scientific practice - Sloppy science - Research misconduct

This workshop covers all issues regarding research integrity: How to practice responsible reseach of conduct, what defines questionable research practice or even research misconduct.

The workshop includes the following parts:

1. Introduction (Presentation):

• Austrian Agency for Research Integrity (OeAWI): Aims, structure, tasks,...

• Good scientific practice

• Research misconduct, "sloppy science" and questionable/unacceptable research practices

2. Case study discussion in small teams (dependent on group size):

• Discussion of cases of research misconduct and breaches of rules of good scientific practice

• Presentations
