Joint Doctoral Forum - AI in Academia

This event for doctoral candidates, supervisors and everyone else interested in doctoral research explores the influence of AI on research practices and academic culture in general. The speakers from Rijeka, Ljubljana and Graz will address the chances and challenges of working with AI, introduce specific AI tools, identify practical areas of application, and also reflect on ethical implications and concerns in using AI in research.

The Joint Doctoral Forum opens at 2.15 pm with Public Poster Presentations by doctoral candidates and pre-conference snacks and drinks. The event will conclude with a conference dinner at around 6 pm. Further information on the programme and registration can be found on the event homepage. 

The Joint Doctoral Forum brings together the Doctoral Academy Day 2024 with the 8th International PhD Conference of the Universities of Ljubljana, Rijeka and Graz.
