About Richard Bale: Senior Teaching Fellow leading the GTA (Graduate Teaching Assistant) Programme at Imperial College London, PhD in corpus-based interpreter education and language learning. He has taught translation, interpreting, German and English in the UK and Switzerland, and he has published research on interpreter training, drama pedagogy, and the use of student teaching assistants in language classes. He has general interests in learning and teaching, and the development of teaching competence in early career academics.
