Courses & Skills

The Master's module is designed as a complete unit with compulsory subjects and two specialisation options. The compulsory subjects include communication, conflict management, leadership, self-management, counselling and presentation skills. In the specialisation subjects, you can choose between social skills and entrepreneurship:

Basics Communicating - Intervening- Cooperating (compulsory subject)
  • reflect on their own conversational behaviour and describe mechanisms for communicating,
  • present appropriately to groups and teams and express thoughts clearly,
  • describe conflict dynamics and apply conflict resolution strategies,
  • act in a self-directed manner in challenging group situations,
  • accompany and advise organisations and their stakeholders in development processes, act convincingly in leadership situations
Social comptences (elective courses)
  • develop the organisational and operational structure of project management and manage project controlling,
  • work professionally in interdisciplinary teams,
  • communicate a professionally relevant topic to a broad public,
  • develop options for action in intercultural contexts,
  • apply strategies for co-operative agreements,
  • deal with suggestions and complaints from others in a sociable, reliable and open manner
Entrepreneurship (elective courses)
  • to deal with failures
  • discover and develop their own resources and potential,
  • name and categorise acts of founding a company,
  • name, assess and reflect on the possibilities of managing organisations in unstable times,
  • name and explain approaches, concepts and attitudes to setting up a business,
  • outline, link and critically reflect on management tasks, roles and requirements,
  • better understand people's reactions, especially in leadership situations
